The first event aim at professionals of porno in Spain takes place in Barcelona.
With more than 200 participants in the event organized by the Barcelona International Festival of Erotic Cinema (FICEB) and the popular Marqueze.net leisure Web for adults.
Barcelona, 6th of July 2007 - the Barcelona International Festival of Erotic Cinema (FICEB) and Marqueze.net, Web part of the Spanish company specialized in contents for adults in Internet Marqueze Telecom S.A., started up successfully ` Prop0rn’, the first event for professionals of the erotica industry. The event of 5th July summoned more than 200 participants: producers, actors and actresses, webmasters, specialized mass media, hosting companies, and payment by Internet companies, among others.
This initiative has gathered in his first appointment the main professionals and entrepreneurs of the erotic sector interested in generating contacts, sharing experiences, establishing collaborations, exploring new ways of growth to push the business of the leisure for adults in Spain.
The objective of this event was fulfilled: to gather the erotica industry of our country, and to generate communication and businesses within.
The first edition of Prop0rn began at 17:00 hours in the Activities Centre of Farga de L´Hospitalet (Barcelona), where speeches to form the assistants were offered, and it lasted until dawn in the disco-terrace Rosebud, where a supper in full dress took place and it was handed over the Prop0rn 07 prizes.
The awards were distributed among the best specialized online media in leisure for adults, that was granted to Group Z and collect by Guillermo Hernaiz, Director of Primera LÃnea. The award for the best Web was otorgued to Videosgratis.tv, and collect by Borja Mera. Dunia Montenegro and Roberto Chivas received the awards of actress and actor with the better trajectory in Internet.
The organization granted a special distinction to Antonio Marcos, President of APEOGA.
The more important awards were given by the public who rewarded the journalist and director of cinema X Jose Maria Ponce, for his online work with the leisure for adults; and the actress Sonia Baby, as the person with future prospects in the industry of porno in Internet.
Previous to the Prop0rn awards, and throughout all day, the participants had the opportunity to make new contacts and to have a look at the state of the industry.
Vocation of continuity
Organizers and attendants were fully satisfied with the development of what will be the first Prop0rn meeting, since future editions will follow to this one.
The result of this first approach has served to create new opportunities of business, to approach the offline world of producers, actors and actresses, directors and specialized press to Internet, and to lead the experience of years working in the sector of these producers to webmasters and professionals specialized in Internet.
Emilio Márquez, founder and director of Marqueze Telecom, said: “It is not the matter to consider the online and offline sector in competition, but as complements themselves. Both have been able to know themselves during the event, to interchange opinions, and to express their points of view, their experiences, and their projects. Prop0rn was a necessary event to contribute with new blood to the industry of sex in Spain “.
